Looking for an expensive place to moor your lovely yacht? Nothing more expensive than the Italian peninsula, as it is the most expensive marina in the world.
Three marinas in Italy nominated the top 3 places as the world's most expensive marinas.
The prices indeed tend to fluctuate, especially during this time of economic upheaval when a third of the world’s super yachts are for sale



1. Capri, Italy – €2,900 (US $3,910) per night
The marina gets its peaking time when Rolex Cup Sailing is conducted. It can accommodate up to 10 super yachts. Capri has been a luxury destination since the age of the Roman Republic.





2. Porto Cervo, Italy – €2,500 (US $3,371) per night
The marina is located in the southern island of Sardinia. It is able to accommodate up to 60 super yacths and get it's peaking time when there is an event such as Deluxe Fair and Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in May and June. This marina was founded by the Aga Khan in 1970 and designed by renowned architect Luigi Vietti.





3. Portofino, Liguria, Italy – €2,350 (US $3,169) per night
This small village is also the home for Portofino Rolex Trophy event in May. This marina can accommodate up to 6 super yacths and must be booked in advance.
