Glass Treehotel in Sweden [PICS]

The Hotel with the concept of tree house which barely invisible had opened in Sweden, precisely in the remote region Harads, - about 60 kilometers from the north pole.



The Hotel is unique because it is made from mirror glass that make its presence barely invisible among the tall trees.As quoted from the pages of The Independent, the Hotel named "Treehotel" is already receiving guests starting 17 July.

"Treehotel" offers four rooms and promises a view of foliage on the guests who want to get closer to nature.The size of the rooms are each named Cabin, Blue Cone, Nest, and Mirrorcube varied ranging from 15 to 30 square meters. The height of each room varies between 4 to 6 metres from the ground and each one depends on a single tree trunk.

The four rooms were made of wood and mirrors and have a heating system in floor space, as well as environmentally friendly toilet and water efficient hand basin. The Motto of "Treehotel" is a 'feel free in a tree' with room rates ranging between 3,500 Swedish krona (around US$500) to 4200 Swedish krona (around US$650) for 2 people plus breakfast.





"This is an interesting building. We cannot find a hotel of this kind anywhere," said the founder of "Treehotel", Kent Lindvall, who was assisted by his wife and a number of architects to realize the idea of tree house hotel.

"All will be reflected here, trees, birds, clouds, sun, everything. So the hotel is barely invisible in this forest," he continued.

How the fate of birds that are flying across the hotel?

Do not worry, a special film that can be detected by birds will be placed on the glass wall so that the birds will not be hit. The locals said, if tourists cannot find the existence of the hotel that means the concept of invisible is success.

Although the concept of the tree house is not a new concept, considering the existing tree house hotel in the Amazon. However this hotel in Sweden is one of the the most extreme one because the hotel is located in the region where in the month of February, the temperature will be eleven degrees Celcius.
