May be you already know how large is a kilobyte, a megabyte, a gigabyte and a terabyte but have you ever heard a petabyte? Except for those tech savvy must know about it. Okay let's go to the explanation below.

1 petabye is equal to 1000 terabytes or 1
million gigabytes, hard to figure out on how much data can be stored in 1 petabyte. 1 petabyte can store about 20 million filing cabinet (4 drawer with a full load) or 500 billion sheets of printed text. Meanwhile, to save the data with that amount we need 500 million of ordinary floppy disk.

According to wikipedia , a petabyte is a unit of information equal to one quadrillion bytes, or 1000 terabytes. It is abbreviated PB. The prefix peta- (P) indicates a power of 1000:
1 PB = 1,000,000,000,000,000 B = 10005 B = 1015 B.

While the image below can explain you how large is 1 petabyte :D

So what's your take huh?
Very large right?
But there's still another unit lager than petabyte. .
Here the list :

* 1 Bit = Binary Digit
* 8 Bits = 1 Byte
* 1000 Bytes = 1 Kilobyte
* 1000 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte
* 1000 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte
* 1000 Gigabytes = 1 Terabyte
* 1000 Terabytes = 1 Petabyte
* 1000 Petabytes = 1 Exabyte
* 1000 Exabytes = 1 Zettabyte
* 1000 Zettabytes = 1 Yottabyte
* 1000 Yottabytes = 1 Brontobyte
